WHAT IS THE ATTIRE?
We would love for our family and friends to dress up with us! The dress code is coastal black-tie optional. For gentlemen, tuxedos or formal suits with a tie are encouraged. For ladies, we suggest floor-length gowns, formal midi dresses, or elevated cocktail attire.
ARE PLUS ONES AND CHILDREN ALLOWED?
Although we wish we could celebrate with everyone, due to limited space, we kindly ask that only the guests specifically listed on your invitation join us. We love your little ones and special someones dearly, but our celebration will be adults-only, with the exception of children specifically included on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!
WILL THE WEDDING BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
Our ceremony will take place indoors at Corolla Chapel. Cocktail hour and the reception will follow at Whalehead Club under a tent, with access to the outdoor lawn.
WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED FROM THE CEREMONY TO THE RECEPTION?
Corolla Chapel and the Whalehead Club are just a short walk from one another! Guests are welcome to walk to the reception following the ceremony, as transportation will not be provided.
WHERE SHOULD WE PARK FOR THE WEDDING WEEKEND EVENTS?
Welcome Party: The Wild Horse Inn is located in Historic Corolla Village, with limited parking available on-site. Guests staying at the Corolla Village Inn may also choose to walk. Ceremony: Parking will be available in the Corolla Chapel lot and throughout the surrounding Historic Corolla Village area. Reception: Parking will be available at the Whalehead Club. The reception is also located in Historic Corolla Village.
WHAT AIRPORT SHOULD I FLY INTO?
The closest airport is Norfolk International Airport (ORF), approximately two hours from Corolla. Other options include Richmond International Airport (RIC), approximately three hours and 15 minutes away, and Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), approximately four hours away.
